What was the Project?
Alfridaus was established in 2005 to connect Muslims to their religion. The came to us with an existing image and brand. One that started at aiming at the local community. Over the years the organisation has evolved and now established all over Australia with vision to be setup overseas in the middle east.
With this mission in their midst and well strategised, they needed a new look. A new image. A new brand. Alfirdaus team’s approach for the new organisation was to become a more corporate and professional college. A college that looks and feels like a professional entity.
Solutions and Ideas:
We were given a logo they Alfirdaus marketing team had worked in with a specialised Arabic calligraphy artist. From there we worked on an Islamic pattern that will tie in with the logo and across all the branding elements. That pattern was altered and is now a consistent element in all designs.
We created a brand that represents professionalism at a higher scale. The brand embodies the Islamic feeling with the imagery and patterns used, but ties with the western professionalism.
Along with the Alfirdaus team, we worked on creating a secondary colour to help highlight certain things. Yellow was selected as a contrast to the sky blue in the Alfirdaus brand. Blue was already the previous colour which resonated with the community.
With the new vision of the company mixed with the visual branding, it Allows the company to approach the Australian community alike.
