What was the Project?
Olive is a dynamic firm committed to building an ethical group of businesses in the Australian healthcare sector. In general, to invest is to distribute money in the expectation of some benefit in the future – Olive are investing in the healthcare sector, investment in medical equipment, in real estate and by the service of the healthcare industry.
Olive wanted a brand that targets the youth of Australia. Utalising their existing logo that is covered with vibrant colours which represents their multicultural approach. Their design needed to be professional and modern as they will be working with all facets of investors. From small to large tier investors.
Solutions and ideas:
We worked with their Marketing team to present a total of 3 different concepts which were mainly directed around the central theme of “a youthful approach to investing”.
What is a youthful approach? How can we tie modern design with investment professionalism? These were questions that we needed to answer.
Youth Design is very abstract, very wild and very loud, which is the opposite of what a professional corporate company desire for their brand, which entails modern design clean, simple and easy to look. Before we worked on the concepts and even considered any material, we needed to revisit the logo. We had adjusted the logo to allow room for use on all forms of media and print. That logo kept with their previous brand of having a vibrant colour scheme – i.e. trying to attract the Australian youthful community.
The theme we went with was the idea of using the colours of their logo to represent different departments of the company. From the sales and introduction team, to the accounts and financial team and even the communications team. The style, font and theme were consistent with all 3 as that is very important to have that type of connection. But the colours were altered to have that unique touch.
The professional element of the company was done by utalising the layout and positioning of the information on the graphics and website. Typography and font selection was really important as well as imagery that was selected.
The colours and layout have combined both the youthful design aspect and modern touch into one. You look at the brand and feel professionalism with feel ease of communication with the Olive Team.
